Difference between a journal and a diary.
The journal and the diary is where the place where we the place where we write thing that well.. we relate to and easily write about. They seem both rather similar, they are. But, there are major key differences that make them set apart from each other.
First difference: Formality. Journals are more formal like it is meant to be shown. Diaries, on the other hand, are more personal, and generally end to be more private than journals.
Second difference: Topic selection. Topics in the diary are made such that is just meant for the author’s eyes, only since it tends to give out very dark secrets. Journals rather give concrete information and does not contain too much opinion of the author(well, it depends).
Third: Structure. Diaries often have disorganized structure, no body’s going to read them except the author anyway. Journals are more organized, like it was prepared to be sneaked upon to by some unknown reader(like blogs! eh).
Well that’s the 3 key main differences between a journal and a diary. For me, journals are more used than a diary(unknown source) since journals seem to be easier to take(I bet I’m wrong here :l).
