My views, tell me if you agree…
To me Triond is like a huge novel, that doesn’t end. It contains many plots, twists, and characters. (to many to count) But, for some reason it keeps our attention, and we might make a small profit from time to time. But, I don’t think it’s about the money, it can’t be! We all want to receive negative and positive feedback to attempt to achieve something. We give feed back to have it returned, the minority of the time. In this novel you can get trapped into many of it’s chapter, some are interesting and others need a little improvement. (everyone makes mistakes and I need a lot of work myself) But, since you have created your Triond account was it what you expected it to be? Better or worse? I actually love this site, I have met many people on here and I receive a wide variety of feedback, both positive and negative. Anyone who comments on something of mine no matter what it is, I always return the favor, hoping that me and that person can start a cycle of reading, with comments and communicating between each other. On average, I only get about 30-60 comments a day, I would love to get more than this, but it’s hard to find friends that will return a favor but, I do have loyal friends on here that I always like clock-work read and comment on their work!

There are lots of great friends in Triond..

Wow 30 to 60 comments a day is pretty fantastic. I don’t comment on as much as I should, I don’t receive an overwhelming number of comments on my stuff but I have seen quite a few from you, so I know you are sincere when you say you try and comment back and forth with people. Triond for me was just a way to see if I could write stuff that would entertain and be enjoyable for people to read. When I started I had hopes of a wider audience but now I realize that triond alone is not a vehicle for that. If you want to get read you have to put your stuff out there yourself.

I’ve been with Triond for over a year and I enjoy it too much to quit. Although it would be nice to make more money.

That sure is a lot of comments. I’d be very happy to receive that many. Nice thoughts ALC. Also love Steve Hackett when he played with Genesis. Great read!

Triond is a great way to express what I feel and letting others know about it too without getting too much attention… Yes, it is kind of like a never ending novel. Interesting…. thanks for sharing.

This one has a lot of comments. Triond has the best community out of all the writing sites. The money is important though as it is our secret dream that it would pay enough to become our full time job.

I too love Triond although I have only been a member for about a month. I do love to write and it’s all usually true stuff, I do better on that that on the “creative writing” gig. I do have a couple of short stories on, but the rest are “true life stories.”

Hello alc. I have been writing and publishing with Triond for just over a year.
It’s a great way to keep inspired. Not sure how successful I am at it compared with others.
It depends also on the amount of sharing eg Stumbleupon, Reditt and other sites that means you get more revenue. So far I have made 2.97 in one month.
Will keep inspired. Good luck . j

Hello alc, I agree with you about Triond. I don’t make money here, and I don’t get anywhere near those kinds of comments! What keeps me is that Triond seems like real people. Other sites do not have the communication or depth I find here. I have also found an incredible amount of expertise and helpful critique. I’ve not found that anywhere else.
Have a great day, and thanks for this article!

Triond is a great site with great writers in it just like us who are or tries to be.

A great read, I like your analogy
I don’t know what it is about Triond either, I want to have my earnings as high as possible, but it’s more about being successful than having that money “in-hand” in the real world.

Oh sweetness that was a brilliant way to look at thing! and I am happy to have you along as a friend! xx

Nice article. You seem to be doing great with that many comments.

I strongly agree with you… earning money is second priority for me in triond… Sometimes i just want to get heard of what’s trafficking in my head or in my heart… And thanks to triond, it has been an engine to my relief outlet…

ehhh..it is kind of worse then I expected since I have only made 3 pennies in a few months; whereas I hear about all these higher payouts people are making in just a month..but for the most part I really enjoy the layout, the community, and in general how easy it is to get your work out there. It is for the most part a really good site, I just wish the company would let their writers profit more, versus making profit for themselves.

Triond is what it is – an article writing site where you can write about anything (that is permissible under the Triond TOS), earn and make friends. TBH I mostly enjoy writing

right now triond is a bit of a mystery adventure – but I’m loving it that’s for sure!
January 7th, 2010 at 9:33 pm
I tried to keep up with everyone on my friends list, but soon found that I was doing a lot more reading than they were, so I quit.

I love the versatility. Whatever you are writing about, there is place for it on Triond. It is also great to meet people that are mad about writing as you are.
But please do share your secrets on getting that many comments. I love comments and would never mind getting more. : )
