MY TRIOND FANS
It is a thing of joy to know that there is someone there who have you in mind and think well about you. One of the key things that keep the world going is recognition. Everybody craves for this but in actuality only those who deserve it receive it. It is not a thing that money can buy nor your fame but what the audience finds in you thrill them to derive interest in you.
Their interest is not bias as they don’t know you in person but through what you do that they see they pick interest in you. No wonder it is said that if you want to be interesting to others, be interested in something. For it is your interest and skills in what you do that will draw the attention of others to your side. For courage has genius magic and power in it. But how do you know this if attempt is not made to do something. Hence the major determinant of potential realization is ability to act.
Who is a fan? A fan, sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person with liking and enthusiasm for something, such as a band or sports team. Fans of a particular thing or person constitute its fan-base or fandom. They may show their enthusiasm by being a member of a fan club, holding for conventions, creating fanzines, writing fan mail, or promoting objective of their interest and attention.
Paul Dickson Baseball Dictionary cites William Henry Nugent’s work that claims it comes from fancy, a nineteen century term from England that referred mainly to followers of boxing.
In like manner, Merriam-Webster, the Oxford dictionary and other recognized sources defined it as a shortened version of the word fanatic, and the word did first became popular in reference to an enthusiastic followers of baseball then. It comes from a modern Latin word: fanaticus, meaning divinely inspired. The modern form of “extremely zealous” dates from around 1647, while the use of fanatic as a noun dates from 1650.
It is imperative therefore for everyone who does things to the taste of the people to be admired. This admiration leads to somewhat celebration. A celebration, that is anchored on performance no good conduct, no fan.
Now that your role is performed others are left to score you base on your performance. It is like Oral Literature, at the end of presentation the bard is either commended or censured. Their assessment is instantaneous and impartial.
Who are those who carryout this assessment and what are their criteria for adjudging who is right or wrong? They are holistic in appraising whoever they so desire to commend or censure.
The feedback from this people acts as motivation and instills the spirit of action on the recipient. As we all know, no one thrives when he is not examined. No wonder Paul said we are written epistles which people read. As at the time of their composition your opinion was not sought but their resolve reflects the societal view of what you stand for.
Though there could be human errors, no doubt but to a large extent, they give a good account of themselves in this regard as they won’t want to be messed up. All the Triond fans thank you for your analytic views and comments on issues. Continue the good work and help increase quality in Triond.
