Finding a whole folder full of unfinished stories.
It is amazing what one can find in a dresser draw full of folders that one hasn’t seen in years! I was looking for some story ideas which I could transform into a poem to post up on here but instead I found something even better, three folders chuck full of stories!
These stories were all unfinished from years ago to the present. Some were from when I was in high school up to college when I took a Creative Writing class. It is amazing how much my writing has improved over the years and how much I have grow in this field of writing. As I was reading some of the stories, it was like climbing into a time machine and beginning back at that very moment when I began to write it.
I knew where I was and what I was thinking as I was writing some of the pieces I was reading. And I know if I pick up where I left off, I would write down where exactly I wanted that particular piece to go in the story. Of course some of the stories are fan fiction based which is easy for me to pick up where I left off but some of then have only two or three lines started with no direction on where it was going to go. Those are the ones where I can make them go in any direction which could be a romance with two characters at different parts of the world or a horror story where the main character dies a horrible death.
Either way, I have unlocked a treasure trove of long long agoes in kingdoms far far always which will leave me writing for years.
