How to Keep your Poetry Interesting.
The orange-yellow leaves dance before your eyes as you stroll through the park, and you can hear the rustling sound…as the wind combs through the crisp leaves. Standing before you is something inspiring to write about, something that mesmerizes your senses and churns your soul.
The sun glazes over the white-pearly sand as the seagull rest its weary head stooped down on the faded driftwood. The picturesque bluish-gray sky accents the soft white ripples, contouring the stormy sea. Seashells and seaweed grace the calm shore.
You stand in sheer amazement, the beauty fills your senses with complete awe. Taking your little memo pad out you begin to jot down notes of your experience. What you see, peaks your curiosity; what you hear…soothes your mind. Words begin to swirl in your thoughts and a creative magical force emerges… beckoning for you to write. Will you answer that call or dismiss the opportunity?
Positive thinking and feeling joy feeds our natural curiosity. A decision to utilize ones 5 senses will enhance the beauty of discovery and keep the precious jewel of wonder flowing through the pen of the poet.
