It’s about principles: Instead of giving back – Triond is taking back! They are paying their loyal contributors less – and themselves more!
Let’s keep this short and not too sweet – kinda like my latest paycheck from Triond!
We, the contributors of Triond – are being ripped off by the very site that is profiting from our efforts – and it’s become so blatant in this new year that it can no longer be ignored.
If we say nothing – that’s what we’ll be earning here shortly. Let’s use our best weapon – words – and tell them how we really feel.
Since there is power in numbers – we (the numbers) should stop our individual whining, and unite to make our voices heard in suggesting to Triond to reconsider their ‘new’ pay structure – which, as shown below – is almost non-existent!
I realize that we make next to nothing on Triond either way, but, it’s the greed inherent in this new no-pay ‘philosophy’ that annoys me the most!
How bout you?
Below are 3 examples of 3 different time frames over the 6 months that I’ve been on Triond. If you’re as outraged as I am? Do tell!

**One of these most recent articles received over 1,000 views in 4 days and is pure content! I wrote a FOUR line poem which is not included in this list, but has 95 views and earnings of 5 cents – which means it will out-earn the former!

- Why are You on Triond?come from Triond, Science Ray and Facebook. Should the Triond views count as much as the Facebook views? Maybe not, but then again, inTrionds business model it appears we are among the people they are casting their ads to. Who knows?
All that said, I am only assuming, as there really seems to be no rhyme or reason otherwise when it comes to guessing what an article will make. I can spend two hours researching and writing, or I can mash my hands down on the keyboard repeatedly and give it a snazzy title – it’s a tossup as to which will earn more.
I agree with you ImKarn wholeheartedly, but I don’t know the answer. But I do know this: After the nonsense this weekend where I got almost 500 views and made a grand total of 17 cents I refused to spend more that 20 minutes writing my article today. Why waste the time? I can put my mind to other writing sites.
And why waste the time here at all? One of the other sites I go to seems to be putting some real effort into bouncing out writers who submit unacceptable content and rewarding those who do good work. It’s nice to think that Triond would do the same.
If they don’t they’ll be left with scammers and spammers and people posting garbage. I can’t help but notice that there are a lot of really great writers who were here not so long ago and are recently gone. Maybe they they alread know what I’m starting to figure out.
So, I’m with you, ImKarn. But what do we do about it except leave?
