Their updates, man. They just…Agghhh…
So I have about a month or two before I can get the new 5th gen iPod, but for now I am stuck with the super old, supershitty iPod Touch 2nd gen. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but recently I was having issues with my iPod and iTunes (songs weren’t being transferred fully-only a little of the song would transfer). Anyway, I decided to “restore” my iPod. I backed it up and everything, like you’re supposed to do.
Once it was done backing my stuff up, it went along and erased things, then readded them. Everything it does when you “restore”. The most annoying shit came from this.
All of my apps (Only about 13) were completely wiped off the face of my iPod and iTunes earth. When I went to download again, do you wanna know what it told me?
“YOU NEED 4.3 iOS, MOTHERF—-ER!!”
Okay, so it didn’t really say that, but it seemed like it. Apple hates me. I swear. So now I can’t use Facebook Messenger or grab my games that I used to have. I can only sit here and be angry for the next two months or so. Wonderful.
Just. Awesome.
I want to throw my iPod at a moving vehicle and hope it explodes into a million pieces. My apps were what held my online-ness. Now it’s like this useless music player, man. So not cool anymore.
Why did they have to have an update? Why didn’t they just leave it open for people who have older versions of things? So rude. -.-
I will now continue to sit in my seething anger and wait for the new iPod which will have my iOS 4.3+whateverthef–k it wants. I don’t even know. It’s just a huge dick for doing this. ON CHRISTMAS DAY.
