The right profile name may just help a writer become well known.
Many writers today have cute profile names. Writers may want to think twice about names that don’t sound like names.
Personally the name I used to go by I thought was perfect at the time. Several people from another site explained to me the importance of having a name that was believable.
My name many of you know used to be Mrs. Heart. At the time I had a hard time thinking of myself by any other name. My options I pondered upon were, L.J. Heart, Jane Heart, Amy Heart and a few others.
Many of my friends explained that while some names sound cute. This could hurt my views. People who are searching for knowledge may just pick the name that sounds more professional.
From my point of view I know can honestly say I’m pleased that I changed my name. I’ll always remember how special I thought the name Mrs. Heart was. I’m pleased even more now knowing I’m helping my future writing experience be a lot more promising.
Triond is a great writing site that helps new writers feel secure in taking their first jump at writing in. Other sites that I write on
their profile names are a lot different than the ones I see on triond.
Let’s make triond a site with many different unique names as there are writers. Personally I’m excited to see what name they’ll come up with. Initials and last names I see a lot of on other sites.
Writers can think of names that are part of their name and part one of their parents first or middle names. The options can be many. Think about Tom Sawyer. His real name was something else. Does anyone know what it is? His name helped him grow into a respected and admired author that all adventurous readers would not forget.
What’s your name going to be? It could make the world of difference in the success of your writing.
