How children take up the characteristics of their parents.
The saying “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” rings true to my mind at times. I mean, when I look at some people, I see just how similar to their parents they are. This is not to say I’m overly observant of other people’s lives. No. I have a curious mind.
Most of these people don’t see the similarities as far deep as I see them. They always say “I never thought of it that way” or “You are surprisingly insightful”.
I see the similarities they share with their parents quite clearly, as would any outside observer, but I go a step further because I know the people involved, personally.
They share similarities with their parents intellectually, physically, emotionally and even philosophically.
