This guide will teach you how to find the perfect topic to write about.
First, choose the audience you wish to have. I usually go for an audience of gamers because that is what I’m interested in, but you might also consider teachers, students, other writers, or curious citizens.
Once you have this group, you must classify a group even more, for instance do you want to write about Facebook games, mmorgps, or flashgames.
Once you have this, choose what game you want to focus on, then decide what it is people wish to know about that game. For instance, I wrote an article that appeals to gamers, who play rollercoaster kingdom on Facebook who want to know how to gain experience fast. This article has given me 2000+ views, so I know I made a good choice.
The most successful articles you can write are ones that appeal to a large group of people, but it needs to be specific enough so that people will actually search for it. The first few articles you write will probably not get very many views, but eventually you will develope a feel for what it is the audience wants.
Now, lets follow another path. Let’s say our audience is going to be curious citizens. Most likely, they are wanting a news topic. The best way to find a great news topic is to watch CNN, Fox, or read newspapers. You might also try the “Triond topic suggestion” tab next to the “Submit Media” tab.
Once you found the most interesting story to you, find a more specific issue.
For example, if you are interested in the Haitian Earthquake, find something about the Haitian Earthquake that is outrageous or interests you.
If you keep following this path, you might end up with an article like “How the Haitian Government has Failed to Keep the Citizens of Haiti in Their Time of Need” As you can see, the more specific of a topic, the greater chance of your article ranking higher on a search engine, and the better chance of your work being found.
