Wrongly Accusing Triond

Truth or false?

There are apparently Triond admins on facebook claiming to manipulate our earnings. ON FACEBOOK!! You know, a place known for fake identities and thriving deception. I would take these accusations seriously if there was actually any substance to these claims. However, instead of presenting damning first hand evidence in the form of writing by Triond admins screen printed, we get what I call third party rumours from disgruntled writers, which achieves three objectives: demoralizes you, detracts you from the opportunities that Triond provides – worse if you have been here for months. Mean while, the writers making accusations are receiving increased traffic to their articles as a result of the controversy. You? Are annoyed and stopped writing waiting for answers from third party mysterious figures, we probably can’t even communicate with.

However, I ask myself why should I trust those posters? What do we share? The same identity, that is, of a writer. But then they are also the competition who are inadvertently damaging my prospects of earning on Triond with accusations lacking any evidence.

I’m not against the opposition of people forming a writers online union, plus greater transparency from Triond staff into the ways in which we earn money can only be mutually beneficial.

What I don’t get is what is motivating these people to write articles about deception, but they are in the process continuing to write and give those who deceived them even more money. It’s like working while you’re telling others to stop all their work and engage in a community strike.

As for earning on Triond

What we must acknowledge, is that Triond cannot manipulate adsense earnings otherwise they risk a confrontation with the most powerful Internet company in the world: Google. We should realize that, we only earn money on adsense if and when someone clicks on an Google advert; impressions do not represent earnings and nobody can do anything about it if there are no clicks.

Triond can manipulate the impressions on Triond, as well as the amount they give to us. However, we require genuine evidence of manipulation, thus we need greater cooperation by users, since together we are stronger, divided we are not a threat to the admins if there is indeed manipulation.

In addition, we should encourage Triond to make earnings transparent, so we can formulate a plan for earnings, rather than just waiting for random earning updates.

Personally, I have a theory on how earnings are calculated and earned. First, looking at the advertising on Triond blogs, you see ads which require clicks, therefore, impressions do not determine what we earn, also the earnings we gain cannot be real-time, since Triond has got to wait for other sites to update earnings/reports. Those which allow us to earn based on impressions should be far more transparent. Also, I do believe the writers of content which be given a bigger percentage, e.g. 70-30 in favour of author. I do believe Triond can afford this with over 200,000 writers, in fact, increased earnings only encourages writers to write more.

As I have stated several times before, Triond and its users form a symbiosis: that is, we confer one another with benefits. So working together is the best way to move forwards instead of exaggerated accusations from a stranger on facebook.
