Have you ever started writing an article or story and found out you can’t finish it? Here is one piece of advice that will definitely help you.
Hello, my brother and sister content writers. It’s going to be a partially sunny day in the 70s in Pittsburgh, a great day for submitting content to Triond and being active in the Triond community. I look forward to reading lots of work by my Triond partners in crime.

This content writing business makes a lot of demands on a writer. Some of us are pressured to produce a lot of content. The more content, the more page views the more money.
Now I know that’s not everyone at Triond, but it is certainly me.
So, every time I sit down at the workstation, I want to produce something right off and submit it. Time is money. If a writer starts a piece of content, he or she wants to finish it. Starting a piece of writing, working it and then abandoning it is one of the worst things that can happen to a content writer.
It took me a while to learn this solution. The funny thing is, being human, it’s easy for me to forget this solution and I have to relearn it over and over again. I’ve made a resolution never to forget this simple solution again, now that I am fully committed to being a successful content writer.
Know Your Ending First.
It’s so simple. It works. You know it works. I know it works. We just have to stop forgetting it. I am not saying this is the only way to write. Sometimes not knowing the ending is very liberating. I’m just saying it is one way not to get stuck. And that’s a good thing.

I keep a folder of unfinished projects. Some of them get completed and some of them stay there for weeks.

Again you have given us good advice Guy. However, here in the Binghamton, NY area it is going up into the mid 70s today with heavy rain later on, so the outdoor work has been calling me. I have come inside, read a few articles and left comments, while I am catching my second and third breaths. LOL

I especially like to know the ending first when I am writing flash fiction. It really helps.

Sometimes unfinished work has its advantages. It’s easier to get to work on something that has already been started.

Guy, you’re right but sometimes I do abandon an article, not often and I usually get back to it another day.

Hmm, I’ll have to try that! So often I start a story and run out of ideas, haha!
