Writing Letters, The Lost Art

Todays generation is a new era. Where cell phone texts and emails are the way of writing to one another. Should we the people downsize our technology to save a lost art?

Todays world is fast, exciting, and new. where Ipods and video games rule the technological world by its testicles. A world where you can simply write to your friends and family instantly through cell phone texts and computer emails. but for the mid 20’s generation. those who still have grandparents. notice there superb handwriting. there old fashion beautiful writings from addressing letters to writing checks, to even cooking recipes. A style of literary magnificence that todays generation is lacking. Are todays English classes to blame? or just the plain fact that todays generation just doesn’t take the time for such petty tasks in writing a simple letter to the ones they care about most. A lost art is coming upon us and the ones who have master this art are believe it or not decreasing. Soon computers and texts will rule and eventually letters will be just another part of our worlds past. Now most just don’t know what to write about sometimes or just don’t have enough to write about. hell most you’ll ever hear someone say now in days is “hey how are you? Good. what have you been up to lately? oh chillen not much and you? same”….. back in the 1800s letters showed weeks of past thoughts feelings and emotions in great detail.This here could be an idea on how to save this art of writing.. Once a month people should take the time to write a letter and throughout the month whenever you get a free moment share your current thoughts, dreams ideas feelings and send this to people who you care about ask for feedback to keep these letters rolling in. only together we can save this wonderful skill that has lead generations forward to the technology’s we currently have today. thank you for reading and I look forward to hear feedback from all of you
