Improve your writing

Writing is Never Easy

Writing is never easy, but here is what gives me inspiration. Maybe it will spur you on to write about something that is close to your heart.

Writing something down on a piece of paper is the easiest thing in the world, but writing something on a piece of paper, someone else will read, is the hardest thing in the world.

Writers without thinking tend to write about something that they like, or something close to their heart, I do it as well. I write not because I need money, though I do, but I write mainly because I like it, I like the freedom that you get with writing.

With that freedom comes of course, some ever so simple rules:

Make your writing accessible,

Make it readable by all,

And get people involved in what you write about.

Three rules that I live by. There is no point in putting in the ‘I feel thy heart beat with they rise and flow of gratitude’ if you are intending to give the peice to teenagers, for they just switch of after ‘thy’, but if you are writing for someone who is older then this style is fine. If you make your writing so intricate that it becomes hard to read then you will lose an audience. You must drag people into your tale make then wonder where it will end, even poetry can do this!

Always, always write about something you understand, I have just started on triond and dont have too many views but I know from experiance that if you know nothing about what you write then it wont work.

Whether it be the beauty of the world or the harshness of life, whether it be a spy tale or a wizarding trial, story’s of pets or family crisis, whatever you choose make the most of it. Present it, flaunt it and most of all enjoy it!
