Writing Goals for 2011

Big goals require prior planning. Are you ready to write a ton in 2011. Are you going to finally reach the writing goals you care so much about or is it going to be a year like all years full of disappointment?

Writing goals are just wishes until they have a serious deadline. You have just one life and that life can end anytime.

1. Make a deadline for your goals. What do you want to accomplish in 2011? Do you want to write 10K articles? If so how many do you need to write every day? 100? Maybe more? Are you going to write everyday or just when you have free time?

2. Make a list of the topics you are going to write about. The best topics are Facebook, Google, business, money, education, romance, relationships and of course writing itself.

3. The best time of the year to write is during the Winter, you cannot go outside unless you love the cold. I don’t love the cold so during the Winter I just stay at home writing. This is why I prepare the next year before the Winter comes, to make serious progress during the cold times.

4. Writing is rocket science and an art at the same time. There are many ways to make a space shuttle and also many ways to accomplish your writing goals.

5. A project management solution is the best way to see if you are meeting your goals on time. I recommend Remember the milk.

Happy 2011.
