Writers Block: Five Effective Resources

How to keep the flow of writing interesting articles.

Once in a while writers get to a point where they don’t know what to write about. Writers Block: “author loses the ability to produce new work.” If ever you get to that point, I hope you find this article useful and you have so many new ideas.

1) Triond Trends

This can be found when you click on “Submit” (on your dashboard) if you write on Triond. Alternatively, click Here: Triond Trends.  It gives you ideas of what to write about.

2) Google Trends

This shows exactly what people are searching for Worldwide (hot topics). I find it very useful. Type in “Google Trends” on search engine.

Alternatively, click here. Google trends. (USA) or Google trends.  (UK)

The same goes for Yahoo etc. One of my articles which received tonnes of traffic is: Venus Williams Butt-naked?  Dresses Too Racy for Tennis

I saw it Trending on Yahoo and wrote about it. Also, it was featured on Triond (Sportales) for a very long time and still getting lots of traffic.

3) Hubpages

This site has an area where people ask so many different, interesting and weird questions. You could make an article from any of them. It’s a great resource and will help you produce unique articles.  http://hubpages.com/question/hot/  See Format below.

4) Yahoo Answers

I don’t use this a lot now because by the time I use the few above, I am already overwhelmed with ideas. It’s another place where people post a variety of questions which will give you ideas for writing.

5) Your Writing Journal

If you haven’t got one, it would be a good idea to have one now. Sometimes, when ideas pop into your mind, write it in your journal immediately before you forget and when you are wondering what to write about – you will find some ideas in there.

Please feel free to share more suggestions below to help readers. Thanks.
