Writer’s Block

It is August in Canada.  This is the month of incredible heat.  The city has made sure there are air conditioned buildings that people can go in to and cool off.  These buildings are for everyone.  There are also places where people can find fresh cool water.

August is also the last month of summer.  In September almost everyone goes back to school. 

August is the time to say goodbye.  The lifegaurds in the pool have a party. 

Summer students are hard workers.  Whenever I go to the local grocery store I look at these people working so hard. 

I was a teacher for as long as possible.  But now everyone seem to prefer I don’t teach.   So I go back to writing, my first love.
