Write for My Birthday

Everyone has birthday! It’s an exciting day. So make your new plan.

Today is an important day for me. As everyone will go through, I came to age yesterday. But I seemed to be a little too busy yesterday, so I write down my pledge for my 18th birthday today, expressing my wishes for myself.

Be responsible. This is the first virtue I need to keep, because it’s the symbol of an adult, isn’t it? It’s time for me to shoulder the responsibility to support my family, maybe not in fund, but in mental at the least.

Be tough. I used to be so delicate that I don’t want to get up once I fall down.

It’s not what a man will do. So I wish myself to be tough enough to face the challenges and failures.

Be happy. As everyone says, happiness is the most important thing in our lives. Especially when we can choose what mood we are in, why don’t we choose to be happy?

I used to be not a so happy person. Because I felt that I was so worthless and I don’t have the quality to be happy. But I was wrong. Happiness makes a wise man. It’s no use sobbing in a gloomy corner. So happiness is what I need, because I don’t want to lead a meaningless life.

All these things sever for my dream, even though my dream is not so clear. But dream is dream. If dream is too clear it shouldn’t be called dream.
