Why You Should Set a Goal of Writing 10 Triond Articles Each Week

Why write 10 Triond articles each week? The skinny on how to make $2000.00 a year.

This article discusses why you should write 10 Triond articles each week.

Why set a goal of writing 10 Triond articles each week? It should be obvious that a person who sticks to this plan will have produced 40 Triond articles come month’s end.

A number of Triond writers have noticed an upswing in their earnings, once they reach the 100-article mark. (The addition of AdSense has also made a huge difference to earnings.)

Using this formula, a person would have to create 2 Triond articles per day, 5 days each week to create 40 articles each month. Why bother doing this?

  • In two months, you would have 80 articles (close to the coveted 100-article mark)
  • In 6 months, you’d have 240 articles
  • In 1 year, you’d have created 480 articles.

Okay, the real skinny: What could you expect to earn on this number of articles?

The Real Skinny on Earnings From Writing 480 Articles

  • On average, a person who has created 200 articles can reasonably expect to make around $30.00 per month from Triond + approximately $50.00 in AdSense, for a monthly total of $80.00.
  • Using these figures, we can see that 400 articles would mean about $60.00 each month from Triond and approximately $100.00 in AdSense earnings, for a total of $160.00 each month.
  • Now if you completed the other 80 articles, your earnings would probably come in at around $180.00 each month. That’s approximately $2000.00 per year. Can you see why it is worth your while to create 10 articles each week, 40 articles per month, to reach 480 articles each year? (Does $4000.00 in your second year touch a chord with you?)

While 40 articles seems like a lot of material to produce, for those who type quickly, this is doable. Much depends on the articles you write. If you choose topics you are knowledgeable about, this saves you time because you don’t have to do as much fact-checking.

From the figures above, it can be seen that for those willing to work at it, earning a nice monthly income from Triond/AdSense is not only possible but it can become a reality. Treat your article writing as you would a part-time job and your earnings will follow.

Recap: Strive for 10 articles each week, 40 articles each month for earnings of $180.00-$200.00 per month and approximately $2000.00 in 1 year (after your first year).

Wonderful advice and great calculations with the addition of Google Adsense. I have approximately 550 articles written and my earnings… follow your formula very closely.

    Blessings.

    Sincerely,

    -Liane Schmidt.

    Thanks Liane,
Your comments lend validity that if a person can study the numbers, they can chart where they want to go.

Setting your sights on an end result, helps one to stay focused, as well.

That sounds very interesting. I have been having problems signing on to adsense but even with just going by just the numbers for the Triond income alone it should be decent. Going to test that theory out. I am at one penny right now and have a little over forty poems :) thanks for the advice and this a good piece.

Athlyn, I have well over 200 articles. At 100 articles I was making more money than I am now at Triond. I worked fewer hours outside the home then.

Writing articles is less than half the battle, one must read articles written by others, leave comments, and market their articles. If I did not have to go to work each day, I might be able to keep up. Writing is similar to a sales position, you have to market the product. This is very time consuming.

wish you well on your goal.

    Hi Judy,
Yes, I agree with you. One has to market their articles, as well, so that they stay in constant circulation. This is why it is so important to link to your articles at every opportunity.

Not all people have the time or circumstances to write this number of articles but for those who do, the income can be rewarding.

    Hi K.D,

It helps to determine the type of content that attracts a wider audience. Health or science articles tend to do well.

A lot depends on whether one is writing for creativity or for earnings. Both can be rewarding.

    Hi Everyone,

If you’ve written your articles, here’s an easy trick so that they stay in constant circulation and continue to earn for you. I don’t have time these days to do as Judy mentioned: read others articles, comment, etc. though I still try to promote other writers by bookmarking their articles. But, what I do is outlined in the following article. This is one of the quickest methods I know of to keep articles circulating over the long-term: http://writinghood.com/online-writing/how-to-keep-your-articles-in-constant-circulation-3/

Best of luck to everyone. Let’s make this the best year yet for our article writing and marketing efforts.

Athlyn, I like your article, but I agree with Judy that writing is only half the battle. These articles have to be marketed, and that takes time. I am just getting back to Triond after a long hiatus, and while I was away and did not market my articles, the income dropped drastically. If you just post the articles and do nothing else, you won’t get many page views.

    Hi John,
At the bottom of the article, I provided links. One of them was how to keep your articles in constant circulation. Here’s the link again: http://writinghood.com/online-writing/how-to-keep-your-articles-in-constant-circulation-3/.

It’s a given that if you work hard to create online articles, you also have to work to keep them in circulation. But, for those writers who do so, the monthly earnings make it worthwhile.

    Hi Anuradha,
Thank you. I wish you every success. Make sure you always link to your articles and you will do well with them each month.

Those who work hard will see results.

I have nearly 200 articles published and am often on the Hot Content list, but my earnings fall WAY short of your calculations. Ad Sense does not seem to work for international, non US, writers. In spite of being regularly on Hot Content I earn approx $5 per month!

  • Athlyn Green
    May 12th, 2010 at 7:36 am

    Hi Val,
That seems very odd for the number of articles you’ve written. The first thing I would do is check your views and see if you are getting new monthly visitors. Next, do linking to your articles and interlink them. Third, check that your AdSense ID numer is correct and added and if these measures do not result in anything changing, I would contact Triond admin.

Let me know how you make out.

    Hi Faith,
Try, always, when you are writing a new article, to link to your other related Triond articles. This step helps to keep them in circulation and makes a difference to earnings.

    May 27th, 2010 at 11:39 am

    Hi Goldie,
Yes you will. It takes work but for those who invest the time it pays off.

    Tips:

    1. Interlink your related Triond articles–always
    2. Link to your Triond articles at your blogs and from other online sites that allow this.
    3. Find your Triond articles with the most views and write two more related articles and submit to ArticlesBase and HubPages and point back to the first article. Use keywords in your two titles that match main keywords in your first article.

Similiarly, I too have just under 200 articles and my earnings are really low around $2-3 a month! I get around 100 views a day! However, $2-3 a month is excluding my adsense! I make around under $1 a day which I could never achieve from views!!!!!!!!!
