Dear Triond Writer/Reader/Viewer,
It has just come to my attention that there are 2 columns for views in the Content Publications page. Why is it so? Any ideas? If you have the answer to this, please enlighten me on the subject. Especially since the number of views in each column don’t tally up.
On closer inspection, I have observed that one column is titled views and the other total views. Similarly, there are two columns for earnings too: one column for earnings and the other for total earnings. What does this mean? Please if you know the answer, TELL ME! Why 2 views?
Awaiting for your response. I know that at least someone you reads this will have the exact knowledge regarding the purpose for two columns for views and earnings.
So, I’ll keep this short. I also take this opportunity to also ask about: What are we doing about the “poor earnings” on Triond. I have heard some people have left Triond for greener pastures, online. I still believe we can do something if we persist!
Thank you and have a nice day:)
Regards,
Avissado

I could be wrong, but I believe one column is the total for the month, and the other is the total for that published content from since it was published.

Dear Avissado,
Earnings column is for the daily earnings earned by a particular article on a daily basis.
and Total earnings is the total earnings earned by the same article for the entire month,
Both will not tally until the last date of the month.
Cheers,
Dora

I concur with Margaret. The first column is per day for the month and the Total Column is the overall views you have ever received for the article. Same for the earnings.

Margaret is probably right. I saw the numbers on these columns change as January ended and February began. All the numbers in the columns with views and earnings was reset to zero at the start of the month. So, the numbers on both these columns will increase as people start viewing your articles and you begin earning during this month. The columns that say total views and total earnings are where all the views and earnings you got for your articles from the time it was first published up to the present can be found.

My first views column has reset to zero this month, too.
