I have read many comments on Triond about Article Spinning and many people know what it is but I have found that lots of people do not understand why people "Spin" articles. I have tried to explain as clearly as possible why there are so many people online spinning articles. I hope you enjoy this short article about article spinning and the dangers it presents to the quality of the internet.
What is article ‘spinning’?
Basically, article spinning is where you have an article and you go through that article and change as many of the words as possible to achieve a unique article that says the same thing as the original. There are two ways of doing this
1) Manual Spinning
2) Auto Spinning
Manual spinning just means that you read through the article yourself and change the words yourself replacing each chosen word with a synonym (so a thesaurus would be useful).
Auto Spinning requires you to use a piece of software that will select words and phrases and then replace them with synonyms meaning that you can with some software create 100’s of unique articles at the click of a button.
Why ‘spin’ articles?
People will spin articles because they can create 100’s of articles that will trick the Google bots into thinking that the content of each of these articles is unique. This means that these people can have an entire army of articles, each one considered unique, containing a link pointing to a website or product. This is a form of Black Hat SEO. It should be obvious that the higher the number of back links you have to a product or to a website the higher the traffic to those links therefore the higher the earnings.
But why do people do this?
Many Triond users wonder why there are so many people churning out spun articles that are grammatically incorrect and barely contain any content. The simple fact of the matter is that these people wanted a fast way of creating back links to their affiliate products so that they can make more commission off of them. The vast majority of people who publish spun articles on Triond are not looking to make loads of money from Triond itself but from the commission they can get from their affiliate products. They choose to publish their spun articles on as many sites that have revenue sharing as possible because they can make a few dollars a month from them so this means that they have a secondary stream of revenue.
Why is article ‘spinning’ so bad?
You may be wondering what is so wrong with article spinning. Well there are copy write issues with article spinning. The search engines may not realise that the spun articles are just articles that have had many of the words replaced but readers do. Even if a PLR article is used and spun it is still a bad idea to spin articles because if a site like Triond has loads of spun articles and Google realises it then Triond’s reputation can be damaged meaning that any articles published through Triond will suffer as they will not rank as high up in Google. Spinning articles damages reputations all around.
Article spinning also has the ability to saturate a market. If there are 1,000,000’s of articles about the same subject and all of those articles are rehashed rubbish the search engines may think that that is what people are looking for and then anybody who actually writes a quality article about that topic will find it hard to get their article seem by the public, which means that there are probably loads of great quality articles out there that are not being seen due to there being so many rubbish, spun articles.
There are loads of ways of getting back links and increasing traffic to your articles/products/blogs/websites without resorting to lowering the quality of the entire internet one spin at a time.

Article spinning is a big issue because people use it to publish copyright material on Triond which makes it bypass Triond scanners except the content is still not fully unique.

Well I\’m wondering about one thing – if G00gle credits only the links which are found on unique content pages, then why does article syndication work?
