People may not always be interested in what you have to say but show them a How to.. and nine out of ten times you are likely to draw their attention. Here’s Why a how to title can work for you.
It is well known that no matter what you are writing about, present it as a how to…and you raise your chances of drawing the attention of more wandering eyeballs than you would had you not to include those two magic words -How To.. in your title.
People may not always be interested in what you have to say but show them a How to.. and nine out of ten times you are likely to draw their attention.
Why a how to title can work for you:
It’s easy to write a how to… Anyone can write a how to… article.
You can write a how to…from brushing your teeth more effectively, to tying up shoelaces quickly. Or your how to can be about making a pudding…brewing coffee…making bread, cake, fluffy omelette’s, just about anything really! How to rinse your hair…how to compost your home waste…how to create a collage…how to…the list is endless.
You can even try writing a how to on a how to…YOU CAN.
How to.. articles are interesting because they are believed to be brief and quick! Everyone of us is naturally curious to know more but time constraints often prevent us to look into the details of everything that comes our way. So something like a how to…that is assumed to be short is known to easily grabs the wandering surfer’s attention.

I wrote How-To’s on Ehow and also on a newer How-To site. I would feel odd putting them in this format but I do believe they work. I like your suggestion and I thank you for sharing.:)

Also, “When to…”, “Where to…” “What to….” and other “to’s” such as “Expect to…..” “Prepare to…..” and etc. attract attention. Thanks. I used to write for eHow, also, and still write for Firehow. Both require “How to” articles.

I think my next article would be ‘How to pee upside down’ or something … maybe that might grab a reader’s attention!
Haha, thanks for the article, it was humorous to read.
