Who Was Triond’s 700,000th Writer?

A very important Triond milestone was reached in January, 2012 and passed unnoticed in the Triond community. In January Triond registered its 700,000th writer! Many Triond writers may be asking themselves – “Did he say 700,000? Are there not only about 200,000 writers on this site? It is an established fact. It is the figure that everyone uses.” However, as I explained in my article What Your Triond Picture Profile Says About You your referral number indicates the order in which you joined Triond. If you are using Firefox and you right click on any Triond picture profile and then click “View Image” you will see a long link that has both the date you joined Triond as well as your referral number! (For those not using Firefox see the article link I gave for another method). This is how you can know when almost anyone joined Triond. (It does not work if there is no picture). Despite my writing this awhile back Trionders are still dating back their first time on Triond to the date of their first article not realizing that they posted that article days, months or a few years after joining. What about the 200,000 figure then that has often been bandied about? See How Many Writers are There Really on Triond? All I can say more is that Triond crossed that figure long before Triond writer Ulsterman became the 230,557th registrant on the site on August 11th, 2009! See the archive.org screenshot below showing that the registration numbers had even crossed the 500,000 by June of 2011!

Either the 200,000 figure is totally outdated, or it is the number of active Triond writers or Triond has been skipping thousands of numbers in counting their registrants. What I can guarantee is that the dates associated with each picture profile as well as the order indicated have never been found to be faulty. It is definitely sequential even if there was skipping involved. We have to remember too however that writers with no profile picture have #0 associated with their profile so we cannot know when they signed up unless they reveal their referral number. Having said all that I must admit that I could not zero in on who was the 700,000th Triond writer probably because the writer has no picture profile. However, I am able to provide data that comes very close. The closest Triond writer to the 700,000 mark, as far as I could see, is Lelorbh, the 699115th Triond writer who joined on January 22nd, 2012. You may be interested in the following data showing the crossing of the 700,000 registrants landmark and going beyond:

2012

January 22nd – Lelorbh – #699115.

January 31st – nlarussa – #703193.

February 4th – ebasearticles – #704993.

March 7th – China Cancio – #722069.

March 23rd – Argyrw Eva – #730917.

April 12th – Andera Crau – #740939.

April 23rd – Philippa Mingins – #746397.

April 27th – evcalangian – #748387.

May 7th – silverfeather – #753759.

May 22nd – webintechs007 – #761135.

May 23rd – Picable – #762209.

So will the 700,000th Triond writer say who he or she is? If you still do not know how to find out just see whether your referral code reads triond.com/rw/700000. It has to be someone who joined between January 22nd to January 31st, 2012.
