If you want to maximise your possible Triond earnings, here are three of their sites you should avoid writing for.
As I mentioned in my previous article, Which Triond Sites To Write For, many of the writers on Triond are here for one main reason; to earn royalties. If that is why you are here, you’ll find that previous article of mine very helpful. Hopefully this one will be equally as helpful, helping you to dedicate your time to writing more profitable articles. If you have the choice, try to avoid writing for these sites. Writing for the sites in the previous article is probably a far more profitable, time-rewarding task.
PurpleSlinky is the lowest earning site on Triond that I have used. Whereas sites like Gomestic and Gameolosophy offer rates of up to (and even above) $2.50 per 1000 views, most of my articles on PurpleSlinky are earning under $1.25 per 1000 views. My most successful article hosted on PurpleSlinky, Some Hilarious One-Liners, has earned only $11.43 (which is still quite a sizeable sum) from 9752 views. There are definitely better sites to write for on Triond’s network.
I’ve always been slightly unhappy that SportAles pays lower than most of the other sites in Triond’s network. The reason for my disappointment is that I have a keen interest in numerous sports, and a number of my original articles published here (over 2 years ago now) were published on SportAles. My most successful article written for SportAles was Why Allardyce Should Be Let Do His Thing. This article has earned me $8.51 from just under 5000 views, equating to $1.70 per 1000 views. While this is certainly a respectable figure, it is still considerably lower than sites like Gomestic.
There are obviously a number of people who will find that AuthSpot is the only site in Triond’s network that they can publish for regularly, but that doesn’t hide the fact that it is one of the lowest paying sites in the network. My most succesful article published on AuthSpot, Are Mobile Phones Destroying Society?, has received over 5500 views, but earned me under $7.00, equating to under $1.30 per 1000 views. The vast majority of my stories and poems are also under this figure, indicating that there are sites in the network which are far more productive if you are looking to maximise your earnings.

Good info, though I already figured those out (except SportAles, since I find sports extremely boring).
