Where in The World Do Triond Writers Come From?
Where in the world do Triond writers come from? I’d love to know.

In recent days many Triond members have been sending and receiving Christmas messages and similar sentiments. This really got me thinking. Triond is indeed a truly international community. Does anyone actually know how many countries Triond writers live in? I’d love to find out.
I am really enjoying reading about new places, new cultures and new foods. I love reading different opinions about things I’ve never thought about before. I barely have time to read all the negative world news in the newspaper any more, I am so busy reading the offerings of Triond writers. My geography knowledge has expanded enormously.
The people writing on Triond are incredibly encouraging and supportive. I’ve gained confidence from all the comments received, suggestions, advice and personal messages. Thank you each and every one of you.
So, I’m sending out a challenge to all you wonderful writers out there. Where in the world are you? Let’s see how many towns, cities, countries and continents we can assemble here in one place, making it a truly international writing community.
I look forward to hearing where you’re writing from, where in the world you are.

I’ll start, by saying I’m from New Zealand, the tiny little country you can just see at the bottom of the map, to the right of Australia. Summer has finally arrived and we’re hoping for a sunny Christmas Day.

Another is from Scotland
Many are from Africa, Egypt and America,
UK and Canada
Many from India, Burma and China mostly and many are from Philippines where all will you not Triondites find Serbia, Georgia and Australia,
Russia and Egypt too
Wherever you go
You will find the likes
Of me and you too

hi, I am from singapore, a tiny mini dot on the map. Currently , my family have relocated to US, Idaho. We are staying on base, Air force Base . My hubby is with the military.

Season’s Greetings from Manitoba, Canada, land of ice and snow. The city that I live in is smack dab in the middle of North America. We have four seasons, sometimes all in one day. Some days we need to turn on the air conditioning in the afternoon and the furnace at night. We have a saying that if you don’t like the weather in Manitoba, just wait 10 minutes for it to change.

Khala Khrystuenna (Greek Merry Christmas) from an English woman in Cyprus. Writing in the sun and loving my new life in the sun. We are living on the Southern side of the island run by the Greek Cypriots. The mid to north is occupied and held by Turkey. We are hoping for unity one day.
