Trying to find freelance writing work can be like looking for a needle in a haystack. There are plenty of freelance writing sites out there, you just need to know where to look and who to ask.
I am going to admit with you that I am a newbie when it comes to the task of finding freelance writing work. I have sat here for the past two weeks with the google search engine permanently displaying site after site. I have lost counts of the number of freelance writing sites I have entered, my email in box is full of registrations and I am working my way through them slowly.
www.getafreelancer.com. I like this site because every day I am getting around ten emails informing me of the work that is displayed. It is a very busy site that allows for easy browsing. The only downside is a lot of the freelance writing work is paying 1.50 dollars for a 500 word article.
www.eufreelance.com. I have bid on a few jobs on this site and am waiting to hear from them. There does not seem to be as much choice as Get a Freelancer and nearly all the sellers and bidders do not have any feedback listed. Perhaps it is a new site and it just needs to take off.
www.crowdedtext.com. This is more of a writing competition website and not one that outsources freelance writing work. I do like it however as it is simple and easy to use. I have high hopes that it takes off and more competitions start to appear.
www.constant-content.com. I really must pay attention to this site but I have spent all my time on Triond. Constant content allows you to upload your articles, set your price and show it off with a summary. When someone wants to buy your work, they pay and then download. There is also a separate section where advertisers state their writing requirements and you then give a summary of your work. Whilst there is not a lot of choice, the site seems to be the one of the best for freelance writing work as the article prices start at ten dollars for around 500 words.
www.work-online.org.uk. This site is definitely not going to make me rich. The benefits don’t really start until you have submitted 500 stories. It is also not really freelance writing work as they are doing research with the results. I am using it to fill my time or when I am in desperation just to have something approved.
I know that there are plenty more sites out there, some of them are just too complicated for me to use or the lack of traffic going through there has put me off. Just by browsing Triond articles this morning, I have picked up a few more sites to review, but to spend less time browsing and more time writing tell me which sites you recommend for freelance writing work.

Thanks for listing crowdedtext.com on this list. We’re trying to get it to take off fast.
