Do you know that Triond was originally Writing4Living? Find out about when Triond was a baby.
Not many Triond writers may know that Triond was not always Triond. Stanza Ltd, the company that owns Triond had a writing site called Writing4living which was launched in 2005. In mid 2006 Triond replaced Writing4living. If you search for Writing4living you will hardly find a trace of it on the net but thanks to Triond’s blogs and archive.org you can see what it used to look like.

Early Triond writing guidelines
In the early days of Triond, Triond issued some writing guidelines. Some of them run counter to common Triond writer practices, such as the advice about choosing a title.

To see what Triond looked like in its first year see the article See Triond The Way It Was in 2006! To get an idea of the Triond sites in the order they became accessible to Triond writers from 2006 onwards see Blast From The Past (Triond Sites’ History).
So that is all about when Triond was a baby with another name. Since the first screenshot says that Writing4Living’s writers stayed on and were a part of Triond, maybe Triond writers from 2006 can fill us in on what things were like in Writing4Living.

This was really interesting. Great job. Great article. Leaned some things I didn’t know. Thanks for the info. I do really appreciate TRIOND, just wish I had a bigger following to generate a better income and get my messages out to more readers but I’m happy here. It is a good place to be.
