You have discovered Triond. But what should you write and submit? Here are a few tips to help answer that question and make you more successful.

So, you are all signed up with Triond and ready to write. But what are you going to write about? Most often folks think that they should write about things they either have the most knowledge about or interest in. But this is not actually the best way to approach your Triond experience.

You have to think of yourself as a “free lance writer” as you compose work for submission to Triond. You see, your goal is, most likely, to make a little money with your work; if it isn’t you might want to think about jsut blogging. Not everyone is interested in the same things you are or have knowledge in. Your work should appeal to a variety of peoples in order to maximize your potential readership. More readers equals more hits/views which equals more revenue. Therefore you should look at writing about popular topics and current events. The “Topic Suggestions” link, under “Submit” and on the “Dashboard” lists 20 of the hottest, most popular Google searches at the time you click on it. This can give you some great ideas for inspiration that will be of interst to many people.

Now, this is not to say that you should not write about the things you know best or are most interested in. It is just to say that these articles, more than likely, will be more labors of love than cash cows. But by including them in your portfolio you will find some readers that have interest in that topic, too, and may build a small but loyal readership. It is also likely they will be interested in taking a look at your “other” work, thereby generating more hits and more income.
