How do you classify a good writer from a bad one?
We all have a natural instinct were we can see who is a good writer, and who isn’t. But how do we know this? Everyone has a different writing style, and some people prefer some styles more than others. Really, a good writer is different depending on which type of writing that the writer writes. For example, a good journalist will write differently than a good author.

Well, a good journalist will have a grasp of the style of his writing. He must write to give information, and his work must be based on fact. He must adhere to the proper sentence structure used in newspapers or magazines, and be able to edit his own work to a certain extent.
A good online writer keeps his work short, and must also write based on facts, as the main goal of writing online is to give information on a subject that you, personally, are knowledgeable in. Opinion pieces also work, but they too are based on facts.
Creative writing, being an author, is the hardest type of writing. It is very difficult to become successful when writing creatively, and even harder to develop a good writing style. Most authors have a natural talent, and were interested in reading or writing since a young age. They can write in their own style naturally, and only need to improve, not start from scratch. This is not to say that if you aren’t good at writing creatively now that you won’t be later, but that it is very hard to manually become a creative writer.
I hope that my views helped!
