I agree with most of it. I've been working on a novel for a couple years and am only now approaching the end. It has taken a lot of commitment, time, and motivation to keep going. In the end, I figure that if I can't get it professionally published I'll do it myself. No sense in letting all that work be for nothing. :) Good article.
