About the passion of writing.
It means having something inside your head just dying to get out. It’s a beautiful magic creation that you feel you must put down on paper for the world to see. You will spend years chasing it, and countless hours going out of your mind to perfect it. It means to touch people on a deeper level just by writing words. To make them able to see what you are saying. To achieve greatness when they can feel, taste, and smell what you are writing. It means to weave amazing pictures in the readers mind. Bright vivid pictures with realistic sounding people. It means to pull a character out of a book and sit them right beside you. It means to ponder and think then to think and rethink again.
It means your time is never your own. It means that you are a slave to the words bursting forth from your mind. There will be days when you will pray for words and others when you wish they would stop. It means when the words start coming, you must drop what ever you are doing to write them down before losing them forever. Being a writer means being able to look at things in a strange way that others may not understand. It means to think outside the box, and to walk the fine line between strange and insane. It means that some people might call you crazy, And maybe you are, maybe to be a writer means to be crazy. For those of us who write, to be a writer simply means living and breathing.
