Use Content Mills to Advance Your Freelance Career

Content mills are a great place for freelance writers to make slow but steady money online. A few chosen content mills can actually provide any writer with the option to advance their writing careers when they actually work on them, promote their articles and make money from more than one place.

The best content mills that any writer can work for will give them the ability to write as much as they want, while also earning money from two places: Adsense, and revenue share..

The beginning of any freelance career can go in two different ways: either hard and bumpy along the way, or easy and smooth as an open road. Writers can pick which ever way they want to work, however, the result of their hard work, may very well vary from writer to writer.

At the beginning of my freelance career, I had a very tough time making any money. I read blog after blog, article after article about how I can make money just by writing, but they all seemed to give me the same Idea: start out in content mills or writing sites. After doing my fair share of research, I began to see which writing sites stood out the most, and which others were still coming up, but people just didn’t favor them.

One of the content mills which I started writing on was Helium. I fell in love with this site so fast, mainly because the payment threshhold was sort of low, but I could still work for that money in a week (now less). So, I began to invest a lot of time on that site, and I began to slowly do more research on other sites that also came highly recommended by people that actually were making much more money than me, just by writing on different sites. Another site that I started to write to was Triond, and slowly after Hubpages.

Writing on content mills does not have to be hard or time consuming or a waste or time for that matter. They can actually help freelancers advance their careers because they can give freelancers the chance to talk to other writers that work on multiple sites and ask them about their own personal success in them. This differs immensly from working from private clients because writers can easily choose how many articles they want to write, and who can read them.

Ever wonder why there are so many informative articles online and so many subjects to read about? These are mostly from people that work on Content mills and they are making money every time someone reads their articles.

Many established writers will often say that content mills can put a damp on a writers career if they do not get out them quickly; I say differently. Not only have content mills helped me establish my career, but now I write about one or two articles a day and since I started to focus mainly on Marketing my articles on popular social bookmarking sites, my views on each site have sky rocketed and now I’m earning twice as much on Adsense!

I do recommend these sites for any writer that wants to make more money each and every month, but if they also want something different, they can always also sign up at Melaleuca!

I’ve stuck only with Triond as my “content mill,” and I think I’ll keep it that way for the time being. I do wish I knew how to market myself better, though an article I wrote a day ago is on the top content on the gomen site, but not on all of Triond(yet hopefully). Glad to see your career is doing so well now :)
