Urdu letter contest has been decided by the chief minister of the Punjab Pakistan. Seven topics to write on were given. Last date of submission was November 15, 2011. I wrote a letter on "Faith, Unity, Discipline- the Principles of Pakistan".
Urdu letter was the custom of Asian people a half century back. People use to communicate through writing letters to their relatives, friends and families. It took weeks to months to reach the destination. Now-a-days, electronic media has changed these days and weeks into seconds and minutes. This is called the progress of the science and technology. I appreciate this progress, but one thing I must say that the realization and the feelings offered by a written scrap can’t by provided by this modern electronic technology.

There is going to be held a contest of Urdu letter writing. I have written a letter on “Faith, Unity, Discipline- the Principles of Pakistan”. It was a simple topic to write on and I tried my best to make it up to the mark. Faith, Unity and Discipline are the golden principles and the foundation of Pakistan. This is a contest and many people will be participating in this competition, even the expert ones also. I hope that my written letter will be winning something special (though not the first prize)
