Upset
Earning cents per content is already good enough rather than not to earn at all.
I am new in TRIOND, three months to be exact. I enjoyed reading all the articles in my news feeds. I am also taking some of my time digging my brain to write articles that interests my readers.
Recently, when the computer glitched happened and my earnings went unbelievably high, honestly I don’t mind it at all though I’m happy of the figures I’ve seen but I know that it is ridiculous that I’m going to earn such a huge sum of money. So I don’t bother at all. I read some articles claimed they also earn millions from TRIOND in one day so I know there was something wrong with the earnings displayed on my dashboard.
What upset me most, after the glitched, oh well, I hope it is fixed. Few of my articles earn few cents, but the next payment amount displayed on my dashboard remain the same before the computer glitched. After a day or two, my content earns few cents again but the next payment amount never increases at all. I should feel happy because my articles are earning but I’m not. I feel upset and worried instead. I know I’m only talking about cents but hey guys, if I continue to write and publish my articles and yes my content earns form the relevant websites yet my payment that I should be receiving from TRIOND is still the same and worst I will not be receiving at all, do you think I should not be upset?
Aside from writing articles because we want to express our own opinions and share our knowledge, make friends and gain recognition, we also want to be appreciated for our efforts through revenue. (this is what TRIOND offers to their writers)
I hope I’m not the only one having this worry.

first you have to decide, you are here to earn or it is your hobby, if it is earning you are at the wrong place for that there are some very good sites like expertscolumn, hubpages, etc, and if it is writing satisfaction smile and enjoy.

I agree with Laura, was going to write the same. Over time it will get better, but you cannot make a living out of it for sure.

If your earnings are not displaying properly, contact the help center at the lower right hand bottom of the dashboard screen. It may take them a couple days to answer but they will fix it.

I’d love to make more $$ here but I don’t think that is going to happen lol. But I really love writing (especially poetry) and pennies are better than nothing on other sites.

I also have to wonder why I have to post my articles in Triond while I can sell them to get much higher revenues. But what I hate is when I saw my article in one website but I was not recognized as the writer. I was paid letting my full rights to get out of my palms but it feels so disappointing. I don’t really mind about how much I can earn. I am more of looking for new friends, share my thoughts with them and most of all, LEARN from their works. But I am not hypocrite so I feel the same way too. More than the views and recognition, the revenues must be reasonable. Nevertheless, it’s very fun here in triond community.

Just keep doing what you’re doing. You may have to write for other websites, try freelance as well and parlay your earnings that way. Be strong and understand the nature of online writing. I understand what you mean but I do write because I’m retired and need a nice hobby and I like to write.

You can post your links (articles from Triond ) on a site called Redgage, and build earnings on that site.

The pay does get better. I believe you have to stay focused and dedicated. That doesn’t mean you can quit your day job and write here alone. To earn something worth while you have to do many tasks and be enrolled to many site.
