I’m not sure but I have a feeling that all views are not reported. I mean I think that people have more article views than what is displayed on their dashboard.
I hate to accuse any one or any site, but I think that people are receiving more views than is reported. Think about the more views one receives the more a site will have to pay them. Let’s be realistic, who can go a whole entire day with one or two views? There are so many people surfing the web and having less than ten views a day are you kidding me. What about that article you know is popular starts receiving so many views and than it stops. I just saying seems a bit suspicious to me. I hope no site falls prey to stealing from their clients but I guess it happens. I would hate to think that all that work a writer puts into his or her work is wasted. Even the less popular articles are receiving some kind of views. I just don’t understand this. What gets me is that, although you promote your articles on other web sites you still get no traffic. I just don’t know it all seems suspect to me. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. People are gone to at least click on your article and that is considered a view. I’m keeping my eye on this one. I think that some of the articles deserve more than a few views and cents for that matter. I hope triond is not pulling a fast one. I would hate for this site to earn a bad reputation. Triond if your members are receiving views let them have them. I want my views and I want them now! Well, I’ll see what happens in the next week or so and do some comparison. If there are any missing views than they better come out of hiding. Thanks for viewing this I hope it is calculated.

Talk About it Tiki!!!! I have an article with 10 hits that has earned me $0.01 and another on health that has in the last 7 days got 100 hits still earning me $0.01…now what does this mean? Do we still that maths here at triond? I just hope am not imagining too much!

Lower earning rates are to be blamed on the economy. It is the same case everywhere. If some other site is paying little better than here, it is possible. But if that is paying lot better then it may go broke soon. Online advertising isn’t the way it used to be before the recession.

I don’t think Triond is not reporting our views. It does, but the number of views depends on many things and it goes up and down. I am a Triond writer since 2006. I saw the traffic change many times over. People read what they like, so if something does not interest them, then they are not going to click because they have so much choice.
The Internet is flooded with information, so as writers we have to offer readers something unique and it has to be well written. Proper grammar, spelling, and dividing the text into paragraphs makes it easier to read and looks more professional. Do not repeat headlines from the main stream media and offer different angles on stories. You have to tap into certain readership to be more read.
Then, there is the way Google rates certain sites that influences the number of reads too. If your article is at the bottom of the pile in search engines, then it is not going to receive that many views either. So you have to make sure that you use good tags. It takes a lot of time and effort for a writer to be noticed because there are so many…

I have seen some awesome articles that have generated little views. In my opinion it seems like there’s something suspicious with the views that’s all i’m saying. Opinion only!

I’ve got one article which generates hundreds of views, so if people are interested then why do they not leave any, any comments? Good nor bad? The article is entitled Nunchakus.

I also saw some very poor quality articles on “Hot Content List”, it does not seem fair, but who knows maybe people like to read it just for fun?

@tankermone,
People write comments. But triond does not post the comments of outsiders. It mostly goes into spam. That is why you will find more of the time the comments from only Triond members. Isn’t it weird?

Being new, I am taking the time to educate myself about Triond, it’s members and their points of view. Very interesting article. I have lots more to learn.
