Just for fun – a Triond survey.
Triond’s reputation has taken quite a beating, with a mass exodus of writers. For those who are still here, I wonder what you opinion is. Please take the time to answer this simple and generic questionnaire. Thank you.

I, too, agree these are great questions. And I adore Triond and the friends I have made. My parents always said Triond was the best thing that ever happened to me.

My sister suggested at first to post my poem on Triond, and since then I have produced quite a number of good articles. Though, i have my up-and-down writing here, Triond is so good to me, with true friends always supporting my works.

interesting.
(1) I joined eHow.com for a short while before i joined Triond. No $ as I’m not US residents, but joined for fun, 3 posts published, some members recommended me Triond but i ignored, but later 2 of the posts removed and I fed up left there and come here out of curosity. Used horoscope as penname just to take a look how it was like, submitted some silly poems but made frens so got motivated.
(2) Sept 2009.
(3) No intention to be a funny writer, but wrote in funny way and no turning back. Also some serious yet not serious stuff.
(4) Nope, I cannot digest high quality stuff, feel nausea when reading high quality stuff.
(5) Depend on which writers.
(6) Usually fixed though may not be perfect
(7) Fun, excited, joy, angry, fed up, anxious, contented, relaxing
(8) No, because I won’t be able to express freely as I’m too shy.

I was one who left for a few months, having become tired of some of the rubbish and sensationalism content being published. During that time flagging was introduced and on my return the site had improved considerably. I find Triond no better or no worse thnt a couple of other sites now. I enjoy the immediate publication but most of alll I enjoy te people I’ve come to know here. I started on Triond two years ago. As to whether my articles are quality, that is for others to answer. I write for my own satisfaction.

1). I came across Triond by chance. Just browsing to make some extra cash as a writer & I liked it so I signed up.
2). 2 yrs.
3). health issues, relationships, travel, psychology, current events, funny & creative at times. I like to make my audience laugh so I used my sense of humor to my advantage.
4). I believe that I do; otherwise, I wouldn’t have so many views.
5). It’s okay, it could be better, but it’s a stepping stone to something better. I believe that those of us who are serious writers could use this platform to gain publishing experience and you never know where this can take you maybe even to a foreign country.
6). They do resolve it. For example, thumbnail image feature was disabled on Sunday & it took me several hours before I could submit my piece. I went to dinner & when I came back, it was still spinning, but I was able to get my article published before midnight at least right? lol.
7) My experience with Triond has been overall a pleasant one with the exception of the cyberbully experience, it’s okay. The earnings are still low. Triond should have more bonuses.
8). Yes, definitely especially to those of us who are serious writers. Not everyone on this site is here to write. There are still a lot of trolls on this site causing trouble. I really like the flagging button. More quality articles are being submitted instead of all that garbage that used to get published.
Thank you sunshine, I really enjoyed answering this questionarre. I

Hi Lady Sunshine, I stumbled upon Triond, and have been on Triond a little over three years now. I am a poet at heart, so most of my content is poetry, a few short stories here and there. I don\’t know about my content being high quality, I just write what I feel. Triond is okay, could be better. Sometimes the issues are fixed and sometimes not. My experience with Triond has been good, a few ups and downs along the way, but all in all, not bad. Yes, I would recommend Triond to family, friends and co-workers. I enjoyed this questionnaire.

I joined Triond from a Google search in August 2009. From then until June 2011 my content consisted mainly on the topics of alternative health, astrology, crystals, dream interpretation, feng shui, mythology, and occasional poetry. Now I’m back after being away from Triond for nearly 6 months. It has always been my primary objective to produce quality content, so I hope my readers have found it so. As to whether I consider Triond to be a quality site – I wouldn’t have come back if I felt it would be detrimental to my writing. My experience at Triond has been good overall and so there would be no reason why I would not recommend it to others. It has been a wonderful platform for my writing growth and I have made some lovely friends here. It’s lovely to see you again Lady Sunshine.

1. How did you first hear about Triond?
I first heard about Triond from a website called Xomba.com. It’s very similar to Triond, except they get paid solely from Google Adsense. After my Google Adsense account was banned, I cam e to Triond to make money online.
2. How long have you been on Triond?
I registered early February 2011 and I created some articles, but I didn’t actually start being serious on Triond until November 2011.
3. What type of content do you produce on Triond?
I mainly write gaming articles and health articles, but as of now I’m experimenting with micro and macro niches.
4. Do you produce high quality content?
I think for the most part, yes. My Triond Guide articles are all High Quality in my opinion. I do have some articles which I am not proud of though, but I guess that’s the same for everybody.
5. Do you consider Triond to be a quality site?
Honestly, not at all, no. Triond, while a great website for writing, is being abused by people who want to make money online by spamming articles from other sites or copying their peer’s articles. Triond is also very distant from their writers and it’s hard to get support from them. Google also hates Triond..
6. When issues arise on Triond, would they be promptly fixed and attended to by the Triond administration?
I have not had a personal issue as of now so I cannot say. But from what I’ve heard, Triond support is terrible. So no.
7. How do you rate your experience on Triond?
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Triond a solid 8. Despite all the hiccups and what not, Triond is a very open website. You can learn a lot of things from here and gain a fan base of people who admire your work and your success.
8. Would you recommend Triond to others, such as family, friends and co-workers?
Definitely. Even though Triond doesn’t pay that well, you can submit almost anything on this website as long as it’s genuinely your writing.

OK, here goes.
1.How did you first hear about Triond?
.
Through an online search for websites through which you could earn something for articles posted.
.
2.How long have you been on Triond?
.
About a year and a half.
.
3.What type of content do you produce on Triond?
.
Romantic poetry, humorous poetry and plain daft poetry.
Short stories, mainly supernatural or vampire-related.
Articles about technology (I am an electronic engineer).
Articles about places I’ve visited.
Articles about the First World War.
.
4.Do you produce high quality content?
.
I try to. I re-read my writing to try to weed out grammar and spelling errors and I try to write original interesting stuff. Where I am writing about history it is usually focussing on a historic site I’ve visited, my impressions of it, and illustrated with my own photographs. In that way I try to add a personal angle to the piece rather than just rehashing what anyone could find out through Google and Wikipedia.
.
5.Do you consider Triond to be a quality site?
.
Not at all. There is so much rubbish on here and when it is linked to at the foot of your own article it tarnishes yours too. People judge articles, just as they do people, not just on their own merits, but by the company they keep. I don’t care, though – I just wouldn’t put my very best stuff on here, or anything I would be upset if it were copied.
.
6.When issues arise on Triond, would they be promptly fixed and attended to by the Triond administration?
.
Sometimes. I have used Get Satisfaction a few times and have found my problem addressed on some occasions but either ignored or glossed over with a generic reply on others.
.
7.How do you rate your experience on Triond?
.
Fun.
.
8.Would you recommend Triond to others, such as family, friends and co-workers?
.
Not if you want to be taken seriously, no, but it’s OK as a place to play about trying things out, practice and have fun.
