I myself really like Triond, mostly because of its wonderful community. However, too many people are telling me it is not working for them. So in this case the solution is to try a different writing site.
I am a proud member of the Triond writer community. I try to publish as much as I can on Triond and stay active at least once each couple of days. The reason I do that is not because of the money (although it is a nice addition) but because of the wonderful and supporting writers community we have here on Triond.
However, I am aware of the fact the Triond is not a newbie friendly website. Too many new writers find it hard to “enter” the community by publishing their first articles. Triond just declines their articles without giving them a proper explanation. In addition, Triond does not have a proper FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) or guide that explains how to publish an article on Triond, or what are the rules and guidelines you must obey in order to get your article published. This is also the main reason why I wrote my Triond beginner’s guide – how to get your first article published on Triond.
Unfortunately, despite my very detailed guide (feel free to read it and let me know if you think I missed anything), I hear too many complains from writers that tell me that they tried everything, yet got no respond from the Triond staff that just keep on declining their articles. This is embarrassing for Triond and very sad!
Some of those people became so upset they decided to move own and not to publish their work online. To those people I have only one thing to say – Please do not! Do not let Triond’s staff make you stop doing something you like. There are other possibilities!
Yes, Triond has a wonderful community, but it is not the only site that let you publish your work for money. Actually there is another site that I really like – Expertscolumn and it is a much more newbie friendly site. So if you are having problems with Triond – please try Expertscolumn before giving up on your writing dreams!
If you are interested in joining this site please use my referral link in order to register:

Once you will get an article (or more) publish – you will feel much better, and will see it is not worth it to give up on your dreams.
Also once you will get your article published online, please refer to this post about how to promote them in order to make the most out of them.
Good luck!

Yes, there are anumber of other sites. I prefer Triond but I have seen many that were not able to make it work, and you right, the staff is slow, gives limited explanations and that can be hard for newcomers…

It’s sad that some people feel defeated. Writing should all be about self-expression and not judged as good or bad.

thanks ixodoi, but I feel it’s a good strategy to join Triond or any other writing site and republish on expertscolumn. as for having difficulties in publishing articles. I’ve experienced a lot of problems with Triond but not one has been with getting articles published. Mostly it happens rather quickly from submission.
