Triond Earnings Rose by 70% Last Month!

In May 2010, my combined earnings was $50. Last month, it rose to $85. What resulted in the sudden increase? I’m not really sure but I could only attribute it to only two factors, namely, an increase in the number of articles I wrote and publish, and some promotion of my new articles. I did nothing else new or different at Triond.

1) 30 Articles More
I have written 100 articles in the year 2008. I took the entire year to write those hundred articles. On average, that was 1 article ever three days or so. I did not publish any articles between 2009 and May 2010. In mid-June 2010, I started writing again. I kept on writing and writing, and completed 30 articles by the end of June. On average, that is about 2 articles per day.

The topics I wrote this time were no different from the ones I wrote in 2008. They were mainly about my writing experiences, motivational articles, personal experiences and some reviews. I have decided to submit my reviews in Triond instead of other review sites because they were starting to be very stingy in terms of payment. All in all, 30% increase in the number of articles resulted in 70% increase in my earnings. This is amazing!

2) Promoting my New Articles
My new articles were not getting fabulous pageviews on their own. Thus, I decided to promote them, bit by bit. I spent half a morning to submit my links to several social bookmarking and networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us and Digg. Subsequently, I do see a slight increase in the pageviews, but not fantastic still.

I have heard that some Triond writers earnings $1000 per month from their existing works. I would very much like to work towards that goal. If that happens, it would very much cover most of my living expenses. Not all, but most. If I were to do some projections here. I would need to write to write a total of another 1400 articles! That’s going to take ages, but it is not impossible. That translates to 4 articles per day and it would be completed by a year!
