Triond Changing for The Good

Have you noticed the recent changes Triond has made to the Dashboard? Would you like more of those changes? Voice your suggestions and hopes here.

Triond has brought about a major change in its looks and feel. If you have just seen it, there should be a smile on your face. The Dashboard look is now more user-friendly, smooth, faster-loading, organised and neat. 

Previously, the dashboard was more fancy and gave little information about the monthly impressions, comments and likes. Now, A new table Activity has made life much more easier. The recent addition of drop-down menu has also increased productivity by saving us valuable time.

At the same time, the graph that displayed the daily impression variation, Top Search Phrases and Top Referring sites have began sporting a new look. The graph is one of the most useful thing on the dashboard and has helped in so many ways. From the Search Engine traffic details, one could learn how to optimize their articles better and improve Search Engine rankings. Now, the look is more appealing and friendly.

Some other suggestions that would make Triond THE BEST:

  • Improved blog
    The blog that Triond has provided is very good looking and all but it isn’t what you would expect from a real blog. Take a look at blogger.com. I’m not comparing sites but just taking lessons. The Triond blog could be way more organised. Instead of a single portfolio with articles displayed as lists, it would certainly be more profitable if they could display categories like “Sports, Domestic, Health, Video, Photos etc.” That way, the visitor can read articles according to his interests and would save him/her time. Presently, visitors just have a casual glance at the latest articles and if those articles do not match their interests, they leave. Imagine, replacing your blog by Triond’s blog! Immense traffic could be built up.
  • Better Text Editor and Spell checker
    This is becoming a necessity! The spell checker behaves crazy at times and finds mistakes in correct spellings. The spell checker needs to be upgraded. It can’t detects ‘blog’ as a misspell. 
  • Forum modulator
    Have you visited the forums? My first impression was that it was a mess. People abuse each other. Profanity fills the posts. A forum regulator becomes a need now.
  • Transparent Policy as to how to reach the Hot Content List
    Wouldn’t you love to know the algorithm that Triond follows to select ‘Hot content’ from the loads of articles that flood the network? Knowledge of this could enable us to write accordingly and improve ourselves.
