Lately, I have observed that the loading speed of triond articles are quite slow as compared to other website. This situation is bad not just for the writers, but for triond capitalists as well.
Alright, try this. Open an article from yahoo’s featured news or mahalo and notice the speed of loading. Now try to access some random Triond article (or one of your published articles, for that matter) and feel the difference. Triond articles are loading at a much sloooower speed as compared to other websites. In the modern internet world… that’s a big bummer- a red flag.
Customer satisfaction in internet browsing are affected by several factors, which include: delivery of demanded information or product, speed of access and simplicity of content, among others. For the delivery of the product and simplicity of content, which is based on information addressed to the reader, that is the Triond writer’s problem. However, for speed of access, that is Triond’s sole problem.
I’m sure you have encountered a slow loading website. Unless it’s absolutely necessary for you to wait for the content to load, you’ll wait for it, right? However, for Triond articles, which have a lot of counterparts in the cyberworld, waiting for articles to load may not be an option a reader is going to take all the time. Slow loading websites are just, well, not aligned with the values of the modern world- their freaks!
The slow loading of pages or limited bandwidth of Triond is costing its writers and the company itself. Because of this situation, in my opinion (because I can’t quantify my claim due to lack of data), readers find it hard to refer articles to other people because the WOW factor has been drastically reduced by the loading time.
I suggest that Triond switch over to another hosting with a higher bandwidth allocation or upgrade their plan with their current provider (if they haven’t purchased the maximum, yet). This way, I believe that readership will increase for the whole website itself. The effect will be much greater if Triond’s average pagerank in Google will be addressed as well, which will be the topic of my future article.
