Improve your writing

Triond and Experts Column

Triond is undoubtedly one of the most popular writing sites on the World Wide Web. Experts Column is comparatively a newer and less popular site than Triond. However Experts Column has grown significantly in the recent days and become more popular. Can a writer make more money writing for Experts Column? Please keep reading…..

Triond: This wonderful writing site was started in the ear 2006. It allows its members to write on any topic and make money. The biggest advantage of writing for Triond is the writing freedom it offers to its writers.  You can’t enjoy such freedom on any other writing site. Hub Pages in particular imposes too many restrictions to its writers. At the same time I would like to state that Triond is too liberal that caused its recent fall. It allowed its top writers to publish too many adult content articles and eventually Google rated Triond as a crappy site and cut down its traffic to Triond. Needless to say Triond writers lost their pages views and earnings after the Google panda updates.

Experts Column: This is a new writing site that has become popular in the recent days. The biggest advantage of writing for Experts Column is that you can republish your articles on this site. Many Triond writers republish all their Triond articles over there and earn reasonable money.

Triond Vs Experts Column: I wrote that Triond lost its Google traffic and subsequently some Triond friends informed me that they are still getting traffic from Google. Yes, I am also getting Google traffic even now, but it’s negligible when compared to the traffic I used to get before the Google panda updates. On the other hand Google is sending good traffic to Experts Column even though most of its articles are republished. However your articles on Writing hood and Healthmad would draw organic traffic from Google even now.

Summary: Triond is undoubtedly a more popular site than Experts Column. Triond has many advantages over other writing sites. Yet, Triond needs to improve a lot immediately if it really wants to stay in the stiff competition of writing sites on the World Wide Web. Let us hope Triond will pick up its traffic in future and grow bigger. Thanks for reading.

I agree with your observations. A little more house cleaning and Triond will be back to its glory days..

I don’t get it myself. Does Google really like republished articles? Nevertheless, since Google just announce it will begin punishing itself for a link-for-pay scheme connected with the Chrome website, I doubt they’re paying as much attention as they should to the tactics of sites like Experts Column. Perhaps some A.I. in the search engine part of Google assumes Triond members are republishing articles from Experts Column.

Yes, papaleng, but Triond does not seem to do anything to improve its traffic so far. Still, I love this site for reasons I can’t understand.

hi, marqjonz, Google never likes republished stuff. Google would rate low of Experts. But the point is it rates Triond less than Experts as it published too many adult content stuff already.

If Triond members stop reading fellow writers articles, it will be Triond’s end.

I wish Triond does something positive and get back its reputation with Google.

I personally feel Google is too strict with their terms.

It’s going to be interesting to see how it all plays out. It’s going to take a while for Triond to fix it’s problems, because they didn’t occur over night.

I also like the freedom Triond gives us. But then the responsibility to take Triond to new heights is ours ie, Triond writers itself. We should be careful to publish nice, informative yet interesting topics!

I agree with you mphsglo, that it didn’t occur overnight. But do you think Triond is taking any action to restore its traffic from Google? Unfortunately no.

You are right Aswathy. We all should work towards repairing the site. But Triond always encourages its favorite writers and neglect others sadly. I see a few articles stay on Hot content permanently. If you are Triond’s favorite writer, whatever you write will get into Hot content immediately. This must also change if Triond wants to recover from its fall.

Hi anna, hope good traffic will get to Triond in future. But google has its own rules and regulations which i really appreciate them, no adult contents, nothing against to the community. only useful matters they encourage.

That’s a growing site. It’s biggest weakness is most of its articles are republished. Google may penalize it for this in future.

Google has many defects too. It disables many accounts even though they didn’t do anything against them.

So, is it okay and allowed to republish my articles here in Triond to ExpertsColumn? If that is so, then I’d better do it now. But I need to get the opinions of others coz I don’t want my articles to be tagged as duplicate. Anyway, thanks for this info. Keep writing more pal. =)

I\’ve just signed up to Experts Column and found the income and page views better than on Triond.

It\’s a shame that Triond as suffered because of changes Google have made so I\’m doing my best to support fellow Triond members by reading their work and commenting if I have something to add.
