Top Five Websites That Will Pay You to Write

Check out this five websites that will pay you to write and jumpstart a lucrative online writing career.

I have been writing for the web since 2005 and I have encountered so many websites that offered great pays for your works, although not too many of them prove too lucrative for your talent. However, I still managed to stumble upon some of the sites that offer value-for-money work that’s worth your time and skills, especially if you are looking for passive income.

  1. Triond

Writing for Triond is fairly easy. You can have access with this site using your Facebook or you can open an account. It lets users publish text or video contents overnight. The editorial staff is great and they are fast with reviewing all articles submitted within 24 hours. The only downside with Triond is that they don’t allow you to link any article to your website.

  1. Suite101

Suite101 is a Canada-based online writing website that started operations in 1996. It has enjoyed a relatively good reputation among writers. It observes strict quality control on all the contents published, with one editor for every section to check the work. With this, the site remains a credible source among writers and researchers alike.

  1. Infobarrel

If you are looking for a website that pays that isn’t too strict with its submission guidelines, go for Infobarrel. It is generally generous with its revenue sharing schemes and aside from Google Adsense, you can sign up with Amazon and Chitika to boost your earnings. You can write for as short as 325 words an article, although it is suggested you write 400 words to ensure that the article is indexed by Google.

  1. Associated Content

Associated Content is one of the best websites to write for money. It has been acquired by Yahoo in 2010 and among the advantages it offers to writers is the freedom to choose the topic they choose to write. Likewise, writers can opt what rights to grant to Associated Content, so the more rights you give, the more you earn money. Likewise, the site gives writers a flat fee after accepting an article.

  1. Ehow

What’s good with eHow is that it actually pays writers not just on the page views an article gets but on the value of the articles, depending on the ads ran on the article. Ehow is also generous with its revenue sharing scheme and it has a forum where writers can share their thoughts and ideas with fellow writers.
