Writing in Triond is a good hobby cause you’re sharing what you know while you’re learning and though it takes time you’ll be earning, too. But sometimes it’s hard to share when you don’t have friends to support you. There are those who just stop writing because they became frustrated for not having viewers. Real friends here are treasures.
When I started in Triond, I was really clueless of how to get people to view my work. I thought people around the world ( that doesn’t include people who really know me personally) would just start viewing my first article,Hope and Doubt.
I thought my wonderful on-line-writing career started so I shared two more pieces but I was totally wrong cause I didn’t have viewers and comments that would inspire me.I was about to stop sharing when I saw this comment on my poem,Only One in Mind, before the end of that month.

It motivated me to be more confident as writer.Earning was not my motivation but a kind comment from someone I didn’t know personally.I decided not to leave Triond ,I kept on going cause I learned the value of people who know the importance of support. They are the Triond writers and readers who keep motivating others to share more because they keep on inspiring.
They are the real friends in Triond.

I agree 100% with all of your statements. Very very good article. I really hate it when someone emails me and says I read your article now read mine. I read any of my friends articles that the subject catches my eye which is usually in the teens each day. Great work on this one.

Great article, friend!
I think you’ve got all the right thoughts with you and I totally agree with this. When I first came here I did nothing of the above. I wanted to earn money but I found that Triond was about much more than earning a little money. It’s about friendship, learning, teaching and much more. Thank you for sharing and reminding me that I’m a good Triond’er as yourself
Best regards,
BluSphere

This was a great article. I agree with your top 10 list. I agree that the genuine friends that we make here are the best. They are so supportive. I especially agree with your point about true friends not spamming your inbox in order to get more views to their sites.
October 19th, 2010 at 12:47 pm
What a great article and I couldn’t agree with you more, except for the forum. I wandered into it once or twice, and it kind of scared me…

Hi to my friend Dee. I’m glad I was able to find my set of Triond friends. You’re definitely one of them. Thanks. I enjoyed this. Buti na lang nalaman ko rin ang secret para tumagal dito (although I was away for two years, I intend to stay here longer).
October 20th, 2010 at 1:35 pm
As well as being supportive, most of these suggestions are fun to do. I like reading others’ work and commenting when I grab the time to do so.
October 21st, 2010 at 4:32 pm
That was inspiring!

Yes Dee..This is a real true friend that you’re pointing out! Rare and few, but they are out there!
October 23rd, 2010 at 5:20 pm
The real friends are the ones that keep us here as we share work with each other. Nice article.
October 24th, 2010 at 4:04 pm
There certaily seems to be merit in these words, I think that when someone demonstrates through their feedback and comments that they have actually read your article, It seems much less superficial than the “Nice share” comments that lend nothing to any kind of appraisal of ones written materiaL

I think I’m a true Triond friend. YAY me because I didn’t even try. I just do what feels right and that does seem to be working
.
Thank you for a great read and I agree with your assessment 100%.
Triond is not always easy. But there are so many reasons we are all still here. The friends I’ve made are quite high on that list.
Thanks to Jimmy for enabling me to find this golden piece!!
Good Luck to you, Dee, in all you do

I agree with this! Does stumbling on your friend’s articles count?
May 8th, 2011 at 3:26 am
i am fine with 2 -9. for number 1, it greatly applies to commentors outside Triond. many, if not all of us, Dee, hope (even a quarter of it) for responses. this way, Triond sustains its community’s health and everything becomes interactive.
May 8th, 2011 at 7:47 am
thanks guys for all the support.
