Dear readers,

Many of you may have noticed me writing more poetry lately. I write poetry to vent, to grieve, to share a thought, for just about any reason I feel inspired to. For as long as I can recall, poetry has been my foremost vehicle of expression. A poem can share so much in so simple terms, a poem does not have to be all technical and scientific. It does not have to use huge collegian words.

Poetry is one of the most beautiful artforms God ever gave us. The beauty of the languages is that they can express so well, from the most profound heartbreak to the happiest moments of our lives. Anyone with a little inspiration can write poetry, no matter your background or limitations.

Dear readers, do not let anyone tear you down. Even if you aren’t the best at rhyming free-verse and theatre verse poetry work just as well as rhythm poetry. The key dear ones is expression, letting a bit of your soul have the freedom to share your innermost thoughts.

I encourage each of you to use the gifts you have been blessed with. Do not say “well I’m not good enough” because the truth is that no matter who you are EVERYONE has something worthwhile to do. Just let God guide your thoughts, your mouth, your eyes,your hands, your feet, and especially…your soul.

I gaurantee that if you do that, you will have success and peace of mind. After all, if God is for you nobody can be against you.
