A short article about my dilemma.
The hum of the television.Dan Brown’s Deception Point on my desk.A cup of coffee my mom made in the morning she left on my night stand, now completely lost its warmth. “The Babysitter” starring William Shatner, playing on my TV, not sure why. My dog snoring. The 90 degree weather outside. My body yearning for my daily work out routine. A picture of myself when I was about 3 years old above computer table. My two motorcycle helmets hung on the wall. A jar full of foreign currency. A promotional flyer from “Poets For Palestine”. An empty bottle of Gray Goose vodka. My messy bed. 3D glasses without the lenses. My very filthy keyboard. Hunger. Writers Block. The inability to accomplish my goal of publishing interesting material. In need of inspiration. Life moving too fast. Not being able to pull my weight around the house. Wanting a punching bag in my room, to take out my frustrations. William Shatner looks like a douche. Someone post a link of something I can read to get inspired. I have nothing but time but unfortunately I’m wasting it by staring at a blank document on Microsoft Word.

Been there as well. Go do your routine, something will come to you. Probably after approximately 3 hours of sleep, when it will hammer at you so you get no more!

Writer’s block is no fun at all. When it happens to me, I just write down something that doesn’t make much sense at all. Later when I go back to it, I can usually make a pretty nice poem from what I wrote. If I don’t at least write something, (whether it makes sense or not) I’m afraid I’ll just give up and let the writer’s block take over me completely. I sure don’t want that to happen.
