The Reason You Write

Ever wondered why you write? Well, it’s time to start thinking.

For Money

Many people may wonder why someone sits in front of computer all day writing articles to Internet? Usually the strongest motivation isn’t money. Cause there are far more convenient ways to earn that than sitting writing for hours, but it often gives a nice motivation bonus.

For Readers

This may be the case with some writers who write mostly helpful and educating articles. These writers are usually popular. This reason for writing is in my opinion pretty average motivator, cause it may get pushed aside if you happen to have busy life.

For You

The most story or poetry writers may include in this class. They love writing and want to share their writing with every one. Of course this may decrease the readers interest towards these articles, cause they only write how they feel like, but almost never write their articles based on what reader wants to read. Still this just might be the strongest of motivators. Cause if you love doing it you will keep doing it. No matter what.

Me

My own reason for writing is a bit mix of everything here. I’m still pretty new to this thing so I want to know what people think about my articles. In that point of view I write to myself. I also want to share my knowledge with others to help them like the knowledge helped me. Still I wouldn’t have probably started writing this article or any at all if there was no pay for the work.

You

Now it’s your turn to tell why you write? Is it something that doesn’t fit in any of these classes? What is it? Please leave a comment or even write your own article about it!
