The Myth of the Mayan Calendar

In 25500 odd years approximately, the sun  completes the passage of time circling cycle of the twelve Zodiacal signs. Then there were only ten zodiac signs pre Julius Caesar’s era, as the world moved on to the Julian calendar, from the lunar, which is solar based, there are twelve zodiacal signs.

The world has been in existence since 13 billion years now. Many Noah’s Arcs and many a tsunami have come and gone .So meet you friend on the 22nd December 2012, when the sun starts its return journey from the tropic of Capricorn, which is 21st Dec of any year.

So don’t worry if the sun doesn’t rise as usual the following day, you can hang me, for the tsunami will spare me as I need not to be hanged. Have a good day and stop spreading mythical fear, for weak hearted blokes may sue you. Or else if you alone are so scared then, do take the next flight to space, request NASA.

If need be tell me I’ll put in a word. OK friend till then…
