The magic of writing.
The magic of writing is you and being able to express yourself. The key to writing is getting in touch with yourself and what you believe in. You should not have to worry about what other people think. That is why I look at writing as freedom. A freedom to put your thoughts or beliefs on paper. Not always the thoughts of the mind ,but thoughts of the soul or heart. It is the ability to show people who you really are. So what I am really saying get out there and start writing, and not to worry about what others think.

There is a great sense of freedom in writing. Since I also write flash fiction I can hide behind my characters; but you’re right to say that a writer must not be afraid to expose the true self. This can be painful. It makes for a strange combination. The writer has to be strong and open at the same time.
This is certainly the magic of writing.
