The Language of a Valentine

There are many ways to give a Valentine this year. In the spirit of Love I wish each of you the best Valentine’s Day ever.

Say I love you with Words

What do I say? How do I tell her/him I love you in a romantic kind of way?

Are you stuck with words to express your love for your partner this Valentines.  Here are a few honest expressions of the heart that come to mind when I think about what to say, these words will be appreciated

For example-Inside a card/after a hug or kiss/on Valentines Morning/A little note left on the table

Here are a few

I couldn’t go a day without you by my side

I want there to be no spaces between our hearts

I seek to find something beautiful about you everyday.

I love you more (keep in mind when using this that the intention is to relay the message that love grows, and grows. The more in this sentence does not imply that love is a competition.

There are so many great memories we have made together. I love them all especially—-(describe something about the past week)

Saying I love you with Compliments

You have a beautiful smile

I am captivated by your eyes

 (There are so many ways to compliment your lover. remember compliments go beyond just what we physically see)

Saying I love you in actions

Bake some cookies (Find a heart shaped cookie cutter and back some sugar cookies. These are so simple to make and you can decorate them with red icing.)

Go dancing

Read a romantic short story together

Go for walks

or share this beautiful poem Just By Loving You with you love.

Saying I love you in touch

Cuddle, Kiss, Hugs, Massage, Play, Caress your lovers brow and hair, some enjoy foot rubs (but make sure first they are not ticklish *mine are*) so that could be a turn off.

Saying I love you by Sharing

This is one the entire filling of love, for love isn’t something we give or take it is the most beautiful of all results of sharing

This can range from something cute like *Share a milkshake

Share a promise

Share your desires, wants and dreams

Share you day
