The Difference Between Knowledge and Wisdom

What is knowledge? It’s a state of knowing. It’s the information or skill you obtain through certain education or experience. You may gain knowledge from reading, listening or experience. In fact there three stages of gaining knowledge. The first stage is you don’t know about it, the second stage is you have not achieved it. Now you have gained the knowledge of making money online by writing, though know about it but can’t understand it. The third stage is you have not become it. Let me explain it with an example. You have writing skills but when you started using the Internet you didn’t know you can make money writing on the Internet. Then you read tons of articles on how to make money by writing and understood that you could make money writing online. Today you are trying to make money writing but still you are not making decent money online.

What is wisdom? Wisdom is a state of being wise. You have the knowledge along with the judgment to choose the best action to become successful. Let us go to the same example. You have already gained knowledge to make money writing online. Have you acquired the wisdom to make money writing? If your Triond earnings drop, you must find a way to make decent money online. Those who have the knowledge of making money writing may not earn decent money. Nevertheless those who possess the wisdom will be definitely making money online writing.

The difference between knowledge and wisdom: To put it in a simple way knowledge is about theory. Wisdom is about practicality. Knowledge is objective while wisdom is subjective. If knowledge is tuition, wisdom is intuition. If knowledge is sight, wisdom is insight.
